Laserfiche EDMS Solution Engineer

Position Summary


  • Responsible for design, and implementation of EDMS and ECM solutions in support of business needs. In addition, the position requires deployment, support, troubleshooting systems, user guidance, and documentation of help desk troubleshooting procedures and operations manuals.


  • The position is responsible for providing application support and technical input for various our enterprise applications centred around EDMS, Microsoft SharePoint, and  Business Processes Automation. This position will be a point of contact to ensure stability, integrity, and efficiency of systems operations during implementation and after they have been deployed.


  • In addition the candidate will be required to work with customers to understand business requirements, business processes, and contribute to definition of system requirements targeting designs to automate business processes.


  • Position requires ability to work within a team to evaluate 3rd party applications to determine suitability and ensure fit within the our Technology Road map. Must be capable of working with little supervision, have strong troubleshooting skills, and be an excellent communicator.


  • Translate business requirements from internal customers into a easily understood system design diagrams

  • Implement EDMS system designs into enterprise applications to support and automate business processes.

  • Serve as technical contact for our EDMS Solutions

  • Provide Tier 2 and/or Tier 3 application support for customer issues encountered

  • Maintain an understanding of business practices, core values, and philosophy of information technology needs of the user community.

  • Evaluate 3rd party applications to determine suitability for use in system designs based off of  EDMS, Microsoft Suites


  • Required - Associates degree in computer science, Engineering or similar field, related work experience may be substituted.

  • Preferred – Bachelors degree in computer science, Information Technology or similar.

Work Experience

  • Preferred – 1+ years professional work experience with Microsoft Windows Server Operating Systems

  • Preferred -  1+ years of Business Analyst or process improvement experience.

  • Preferred -  1+ Microsoft SQL Server Implementation and Configuration Experience

  • Desired    -  1+Network Solutions (LAN, WAN, TCP-IP etc)

  • Desired    – 1+ years of software development experience (Microsoft.NET Environment.)

  • Defining sales territories. Managing sales data. Managing technical tools and platforms, including customer relationship management platforms, perhaps with your information technology team.

  • Interpreting analytics and research.

  • Reporting sales performance data.

  • Proper Filing Ability
